Sawaram Dewasi‘s journey is a testament to his deep commitment to his community and the environment. After completing his higher secondary education in Mandal village, he spent 12 years in Maharashtra for work. However, his heart remained with the animal husbandry community, which he observed struggling with various challenges. This empathy and sense of responsibility led him to return to his village, where he has dedicated the last 15 years to advocating for the rights of animal husbandry workers and the protection of Gauchar land.
 
His efforts have involved collaboration with various institutions, organizations, and social workers, highlighting the importance of collective action in addressing the issues faced by his community. In addition to his work in animal husbandry, Sawaram is also actively engaged in environmental protection, recognizing the interconnectedness of social and ecological well-being. Through his advocacy, Sawaram Dewasi not only seeks to uplift the livelihoods of animal husbandry families but also aims to foster a sustainable environment for future generations. His story is an inspiring example of how one individual’s passion and dedication can lead to meaningful change in their community.
