Captain OmPrakash Dewasi’s journey is a remarkable testament to dedication, resilience, and a commitment to service. Born on June 14, 1975, in the humble village of Paldi Sidha, he grew up in a family that engaged in cattle rearing, which instilled in him the values of hard work and perseverance from an early age. His educational journey began in his village, where he completed his early schooling before traveling to the nearby village of Ratkuriya for higher secondary education, showcasing his determination to pursue knowledge despite the challenges.
 
At the age of 17, driven by a profound sense of duty to his country, Captain Dewasi set his sights on joining the Indian Army. His preparation for the recruitment process was marked by relentless effort and determination, and he achieved success on his very first attempt. Over a distinguished 30-year career, he rose through the ranks, starting as a soldier and ultimately retiring with the esteemed rank of Captain. His military service not only honed his leadership skills but also instilled in him a deep understanding of discipline and the importance of serving others.
 
Upon retirement, Captain Dewasi found inspiration in the teachings of Shri Lal Singh Ji, which motivated him to dedicate his life to social service. Today, he is fully committed to giving back to his community, channeling his experiences and values into making a positive impact in the lives of others. His journey from a village boy to a respected army officer and now a dedicated social worker exemplifies the spirit of service and the belief that one can make a difference in the world.
