Kapoor Khetaji Raika (Sambad) was born on December 28, 1966, in the village of Guda Kalyan Singh, located in the Bali Tehsil of Pali District, Rajasthan. He hails from a family engaged in cattle rearing and farming, with his mother, Umadevi, and father, Khetaji Raika (Sambad), playing significant roles in his upbringing.
Kapoor’s educational journey began in Sadada for his primary education and continued in Latara for his higher primary education. However, in 1979/1980, he left school to seek opportunities elsewhere, eventually moving to Sawantwadi, Maharashtra. There, he secured a job at Shri Jai Ambe Sweet Mart, owned by Shri Pukhrajji, the son of Mulaji Raika from Luni.
In 1988, with the financial backing and blessings of his uncle, Shri Kishanji (son of Shri Kesaji), Kapoor established his own business, Shri Dwarka Sweet Mart, in the village of Roha, Raigad District, Maharashtra. As he grew his business, he received continuous support from Shri Mulaji, son of Devaji Raika Lalguta.
Once he stabilized his business, Kapoor turned his focus towards advocating for the rights of the animal husbandry community. During this time, he connected with various dedicated social workers, and in 2004/2005, he had the opportunity to meet the Indian team of respected Shri Dev Kalyanji Bhati from AAL (USA) at a meeting in Ahmedabad. The team was particularly impressed by the ideas of Shri Lal Singhji Raika, and since then, Kapoor has been actively involved in social work under the leadership of Shri Lal Singhji, who serves as the President of the Rashtriya Pashupalak Sangh.
Kapoor Khetaji Raika (Sambad) continues to work tirelessly for the welfare of his community, drawing on his experiences and the support of his mentors. He remains a dedicated advocate for the rights and well-being of those involved in animal husbandry.
