Rashtriya Pashupalak Sangh

Objectives of Rashtriya Pashupalak Sangh:

1. Right to free grazing in the forests of Rajasthan and other states and arrangement of permission to go there
 
2. Opening of traditional migration routes
 
3. To provide economic, social, educational rights to the cattle rearers and to protect their interests
 
4. To arrange education, coaching, training, business etc. for the children of cattle rearers. To make efforts in collaboration with the government for hostels, schools, colleges, universities etc. for them. To make special arrangements for the education of girls.
 
5. To open residential schools for boys and girls in every tehsil, to open colleges at the district level and universities at the state level
 
6. To ensure fair prices for products like milk, wool, manure etc. and to develop dairy and market for them.
 
7. To increase the number of camels, spread the goodness of camel milk for health, try to connect them with dairy and research institutes and pressurize the government to create a reserve sanctuary for camels.
 
8. To open the traditional routes of sheep herders, to get the right of grazing in the forests, to make arrangements for their safety during migration, animal safety, medical treatment, ration and tenting for stay etc.
 
9. To use technology like geo tagging to monitor the journey of animals during migration, similarly to implement e billing in the trade of animals and fodder.
 
10. To organize animal herders of all the states and work as a pressure group for the government to formulate schemes and policies for the development of animal husbandry.
 
11. To coordinate with other organizations like farmers’ organization, labor organization, business organization etc. and discuss issues affecting each other and play a role in policy making.
 
12. Getting the cattle rearers their houses and enclosures in the village and working for the protection of pastures
 
13. Coordinating and negotiating with all the state governments for animal husbandry welfare
 
14. Demanding the creation of a separate Animal Husbandry Ministry in the Centre and states so that more attention can be paid to the development of this sector
 
15. Participating in international forums as a representative body of cattle rearers and talking about their rights
 
16. To save the animals from the risks of the way, in some places, they are sent to the forests of other states by truck transport, due to which their transportation cost is very high, getting subsidy from the government in this
 
17. Getting the reservation in education and employment for the children of cattle rearers included in the Ninth Schedule and getting special scholarships
 
18. Getting the Camel Act repealed
 
19. Purchase of sheep wool and camel milk at the minimum support price
 
20. Free medicines and medical facilities for animals
 
21. Death of cattle rearer and animals due to illness or accident fair compensation if
